My Philosiphy
There’s a certain magic in shaping raw earth into something both beautiful and functional. Each piece of handmade pottery carries the imprint of time, intention, and artistry—formed by hand, shaped with care, and fired to last a lifetime.
Using locally sourced Michigan clay, I create ceramics that blend whimsy with everyday luxury. Every mug, bowl, and bottle is more than just an object; it’s a piece of art meant to be held, used, and cherished. Handmade ceramics bring warmth and authenticity to daily rituals—whether it's your morning coffee or a shared meal with loved ones.
Rooted in tradition yet designed for modern life, my pottery invites you to slow down, savor the moment, and surround yourself with pieces that tell a story. Because the most beautiful things aren’t mass-produced—they’re made by hand & heart.
My Process
Each piece starts with raw Michigan clay- a fact I am rather proud of, If you haven't noticed! They are then carefully shaped by hand—either thrown on the wheel for symmetry and flow or hand-built for organic, one-of-a-kind forms. Once shaped, the clay is trimmed, refined, and slowly dried over several days/weeks to prevent cracks before its first kiln firing. After this, I bring each piece to life with whimsical hand-painted designs and layered glazes, adding depth and personality.
The second and final firing reaches over 2400°F, transforming soft clay into durable, functional art. Every piece is crafted to be food-safe, microwave, oven, and dishwasher friendly—because art should be lived with, not just looked at.
